Presented at Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a new report highlights AngelEye’s contribution to pool safety as part of an international showcase of Italian expertise.

AngelEye is featured in “100 Italian Stories of Sport: Sailing and Water Sports”, a report bringing together 100 examples of Italian ingenuity, technical expertise and international ambition. The publication is promoted by Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Fondazione Symbola and Confartigianato, with Deloitte as knowledge partner.

Presented at the Farnesina in Rome on 14 September 2026, during the third edition of the Italian Sports Day in the World, the initiative highlights the businesses and expertise helping make sport safer, more sustainable and more accessible. It gives international visibility to the research and collaboration connecting industry, institutions and sports professionals. Explore the initiative on Symbola’s website.

AngelEye contributes more than 20 years of innovation in drowning detection to this story. Our systems combine artificial intelligence, underwater and overhead cameras, and real-time video analysis to identify potentially critical situations and support lifeguards. For us, staying at the forefront means turning technological advances into practical tools for the people responsible for pool safety every day.

The report illustrates this approach through the Bocconi Sport Center in Milan, featuring pools built by Myrtha Pools. The project demonstrates how design, technology and facility operations can work together to improve aquatic environments.

The initiative will reach further international audiences in the coming months, with additional presentations planned as part of the Ministry’s international roadshow. Stops in Nicosia, Miami, Geneva, Sydney, Auckland and Cape Town will provide opportunities to share the featured stories and encourage dialogue across markets.

We are proud to be part of this initiative and thank Fondazione Symbola and the project’s partners for highlighting AngelEye’s contribution. This recognition strengthens our commitment to advancing drowning detection technology and working with facility operators and partners to build a more informed, collaborative approach to aquatic safety.
